Vanilla Absolute Oil
Our organic Vanilla Absolute oil is extracted from the dried pods of the Bourbon vanilla planifolia, native to Madagascar. Our Vanilla Absolute has a deep, sweet, warm, rich, characteristic vanilla aroma with caramel and chocolate nuances and deep balsamic undertones.
Bourbon vanilla is a specific name for Vanilla planifolia plants that grow on the islands of the Indian Ocean. Its fragrance is of universal appeal, as is its influence on the emotions: Vanilla invites sensuality, loosens inhibitions and dissolves anger and frustration. Vanilla Absolute is used in natural perfumery as a base note.
USE IN AROMATHERAPY
Vanilla Absolute oil is known for its sweet, warm and soothing scent and has strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It can reduce skin damage caused by free radicals. Vanilla can be helpful to the treatment of acne. Vanilla can also help slow signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles and age spots, and help restore brightness and suppleness to the skin.
In aromatherapy, Vanilla Absolute is loved for its uplifting, relaxing, anti-depressant and aphrodisiac properties and is also popular in perfumes.
