Organic Citronella Oil (Java Type)

Cymbopogon winterianus, also known as lemongrass oil, is obtained by steam distillation of the green blades of grass and originates from Java, Indonesia. The essential oil is popular with natural perfumers for its complex aroma profile and combines well with other essential oils such as citrus, flowers, woods, grasses and herbs. The scent is fresh, strong and lemony and contains more citronellal and citronellol than the Ceylon or Nardus variety, which means a stronger antiseptic and antimicrobial effect.

Organic Citronella essential oil is also often used as a mosquito repellent and can be helpful in relieving pain and inflammation, as well as boosting the immune system. In skin care, it is used as an antiperspirant due to its disinfectant properties.

Emotionally and energetically, citronella oil can have a calming effect and promote concentration. It has the potential to dispel negative emotions and sadness and is an excellent sleep companion that can promote deep and healthy sleep.
