GRAPEFRUIT OIL (ORGANIC)

Our organic grapefruit oil is cold-pressed from the fragrant peels of the grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) and originates from controlled organic farming. The grapefruit is a cross between the pomelo (Citrus maxima) and the sweet orange (Citrus x sinensis).

The fruits are harvested in the orchards of South Africa and have a fresh, citrusy, sweet as well as slightly bitter, but simply wonderful aroma. Grapefruit oil contains mainly limonene, which, as a fragrance oil, can contribute perfectly to a fresh room climate with its bright and lemony scent.

APPLICATION IN PERFUMERY AND AROMATHERAPY

Our 100% naturally pure essential grapefruit oil is not only exceptionally refreshing, but has also a broad spectrum of invigorating scents for body and mind. Like other (astringent) citrus oils, grapefruit oil is said to make the skin smooth and supple again and thus beautify it.

As a mild euphoric, grapefruit essential oil can calm the emotions and mind and balance a tired, overstimulated nervous system.
