Equal Pay Day – #EPD22.

The Equal Pay Day was an occasion for us to join other cosmetics companies in Germany in drawing attention to the unequal and unfair treatment of women. Like all participating companies, we gave a 19% discount (the current gender pay gap) on all our products for two days under the motto #EPD22. You can find more information about the campaign here.

Toni Garrn Foundation

The proceeds from your savings have now been donated to the Toni Garrn Foundation. The organisation is named after Toni Garrn, fashion model and founder of the foundation in 2016 and ambassador of the global campaign “Girls get equal”. It is close to her heart to support projects that empower girls and young women. Empowering girls in Africa. These are often local projects, such as the expansion of health- and support centres for women or primary and secondary schools.

Girls are already at a disadvantage at an early age. In addition to great poverty, dangerous routes to school, but also due to an early marriage and subsequent pregnancy, their chances for an adequate education are conceivably extremely poor.

The poorer the families, the fewer the chances for women and girls ! But education is a human right and a task for society as a whole. That is why we wholeheartedly supported this campaign.

We don’t expect miracles, but thanks to your participation on Equal Pay Day, we were able to make a small contribution to drawing more attention to this problem. Once again, a big thank you ?.
